Traveler, multilingual and director of short films that have won awards worldwide, Rob-Jan has lived 18 years in Africa. He got passionate for cinema after attending the film festival Fespaco in Burkina Faso.

 

After two years as a volunteer on medical relief ship travelling from St-Nazaire to Bangkok, he studied cinema and then communication in Lausanne. He also works as a first assistant director on feature films.
